Taylor Swift’s cat, Olivia Benson, just landed on the World’s Richest Pets list. The Scottish Fold kitty is worth $97 million! In fairness to Olivia Benson, she does work for her money, having appeared in multiple commercials and videos with Taylor. Several of the other pets on the list inherited their money when their owners passed on. Betty White’s Golden Retriever, Pontic, is worth $5 million. The late designer, Karl Lagerfeld, left his cat $13 million.
The richest pet on the list, a German Shepherd named Gunther VI, is worth a staggering $500 million. According to Allaboutcats.com, Gunther’s grandfather inherited a fortune of $80 million in 1992. Since then, real estate investments have grown it to $500 million.
