A recent survey found that half of all dog owners and about 40 percent of cat owners will buy a gift for their pet over the holidays. So, how much are we spending? Dog owners will spend around $14 and cat owners around $12. However, the NRF thinks we’ll be more generous than that with the average person spending closer to $30 on their pet.

Seems like a lot, but we love our pets!! Rosie’s getting treats from the dollar store. So, we’re totally bucking the trend!
