As part of a longstanding, pre-graduation tradition, 108 California Highway Patrol cadets ran five miles early this morning from West Sacramento to the Capitol.

But, one cadet decided to make the occasion even more special! After finishing the run at the capitol, Cadet Stephen Torres got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Mikayla Wagner as his fellow cadets shined their flashlights on the couple.
