Pretty sure we all feel like COVID-19 isn’t going anywhere any time soon, so here is a list of food items that can help promote relaxation during these uncertain times. Try to avoid sugars & caffeine – causing stress and anxiety.  

  1. Kefir – between milk & yogurt, contains high amounts of beneficial bacteria.
  2. Salmon – full of omega-3 fatty acid, which is great for calming the nervous system.
  3. Tart Cherries –  high levels of various phytochemicals, including melatonin! 
  4. Cucumbers – holds natural stress relief properties. 
  5. Lemons – great for vitamin C!
