Equifax now has to pay up after exposing the personal information of 150 million Americans.

If your name was on the list you could get at least $125. If you can prove fraud because of it they will pay you up to $20,000.

Equifax will have to pay up to $700 million to compensate affected people with credit monitoring services.  That money will go into a fund to reimburse you for the following.

  1. Free Credit Monitoring or $125 Cash Payment to reimburse you if people purchased credit or identity monitoring services because of the breach.
