One homeowner in Oregon has gone viral and this could backfire spectacularly. Meet Brian Landreth from Portland. He is working with his daughter Grace on a data collection project for school and came up with a fun idea.

They painted 5 paint swatches on the wall of their home, and created a Google Form for people to vote, then staked it in the front yard. I guess your neighbors can’t complain about the paint color you choose it they helped pick it! But – the internet exists.

A neighbor walked by one day and tweeted a photo of the QR code. It went viral and now thousands of people from all over the world have voted for the home’s new color. You can vote too!

It appears Turquoise Blue is winning as of writing this.
