A Virginia woman believes that she’s Prince’s biological daughter that was given up for adoption. As expected, she’s filed documents to be named an heir to his estate.

Snowe Melinda Saxman was born on October 4, 1975 in Norfolk, Virginia. She was adopted two weeks later in a closed adoption, according to court papers. As such, she has no idea who her birth parents are. However, she claims that there is “a reasonable possibility” that she’s Prince’s daughter. She wrote in the docs:

“Since I was young, many people have noted that I possess substantial physical, temperamental and aspirational similarities to Prince. I have a close resemblance to Prince … I consider myself very artsy and my personality has been described as flamboyant, natural-born star and performer made for the stage. I sing, dance, write music, and have taught myself to play instruments. I created many dances during high school and performed on numerous occasions as a child and young adult.”

According the the Blast, she also reportedly submitted her DNA online and alleges “there were numerous matches with many relatives on Prince’s family tree.” She says she was tied to Prince’s mom and dad, his half-brother, Duane, and his ex-wife, Mayte Garcia.

It’s a little weird that Snowe’s DNA would match Mayte’s. She appears to be implying that she’s Mayte’s daughter, which makes no sense considering Mayte was born only two years before Snowe.
