Will Smith Gets Obama's Permission To Play Him In Movie

Will Smith was on “Carpool Karaoke” when he revealed the news. He and James Corden were talking about his career when he casually mentioned that he talked to Barack Obama himself about playing him in a movie.

So the two had just finished up singing “Boom! Shake the Room” when James asked the question. He asked straight out, “has anyone ever talked to you about playing Barack Obama in a movie?” Will gave a straight answer, “yes.” Then he explained that he has actually spoke directly to Mr. Obama, and that the former President actually gave his blessing. And of course in true Will Smith style, he had to crack a joke. “He told me that he felt confident that I had the ears for the roll,” he says.

Now of course the actual “blessing” happened a while ago, but honestly we forgot about it, but can see it happening.
