There’s a LOT to do this weekend! Here’s a rundown of a few events you might want to check out!
Do you like to look at adorable pets in cute costumes? Then head to Wheatland tomorrow for the 99th Annual Wheatland Pet Parade. It starts at 9:30am on Main Street and ends with a big festival! Fieldhaven Feline Center will be there offering $10 microchipping for your pets. Get more details here.
Placer Pride is returning for its second year in Roseville’s Royer Park tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am to 4pm. Food trucks, music, fun & games, and a kid zone are all part of the festivities.
Stockton is hosting its second annual Flavor Fest today through Sunday at Weber Point. The event brings together music artists and bands, craft vendors, kids’ activities and more than 50 food vendors. Get ticket info here!
The Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee is happening now thru Sunday in Angel’s Camp at the fairgrounds. The frog jumping finals start at 2pm Sunday!
The 22nd Annual Multicultural festival is happening tomorrow from 10am to 6pm at 2115 6th Street in Sacramento
California Mermaid Convention and Promenade of Mermaids is happening this weekend.
The “shellabration” of all things mermaid is 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday at Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova.
The promenade is 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday in Old Town Sacramento. It’s free to watch the mermaids stroll and show off their fabulous costumes.
SAC Republic FC takes on Oakland tomorrow night at Heart Health Park. It’s Honor Our Educators night and as a part of the night’s festivities, the club will feature teachers through on-field activities and presentations, including a special recognition for five student teachers from Jessup University.
