A lone postal service worker makes deliveries in a burned out Santa Rosa neighborhood.

Aerial videographer and photographer, Douglas Thron was filming the eerie destruction left behind by the wildfires in Northern California when he noticed a lone postal service worker slowly driving his clean white truck down the streets of a neighborhood decimated by the fast-moving fire.

Thron told the Mercury News he caught the surreal images of the USPS worker putting mail into a few mailboxes still left standing in the Coffey Park neighborhood in Santa Rosa

Such a tragic and heartbreaking and odd image to watch.
