‘Very High Threat’ From 3 California Volcanoes!

When I think of dangerous natural disasters in California I think of earthquakes, and wildfires…all terrible things that COULD cause us harm! But did you think of volcanoes!?

It turns out, there are three here in California that are listed as a ‘very high threat!’

KCRA says, “A new report issued by the U.S. Geological Survey has classified 18 volcanoes in the U.S. as “very high threats,” including three in California.

The agency said a dozen volcanoes have jumped in threat level since 2005, while 20 others dropped in threat level.”
