Vanessa Bryant To Sue Helicopter Company For Wrongful Death
After the tragedy of basketball star Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna’s death, wife and mother Vanessa Bryant filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the helicopter company responsible for the crash. The lawsuit was soon filed after a memorial service and states that Island Express Helicopters put the helicopter in the air when conditions were not safe for flying. Bryant, while in Los Angeles Superior Court said, “the pilot was careless and negligent by flying in cloudy conditions Jan. 26 and should have aborted the flight that killed all nine people aboard.”.
The National Transportation Safety Board is currently investigating the crash and all flights have been suspended while the investigation is pending.
