Two Sacramento Teens Engineer Inexpensive Prosthetic Arm

A group of Sacramento freshman at West Campus High School are getting the attention of MIT after engineering a prosthetic arm.
14 year old Zuriel Joven and 15 year old Luke Torre have spent the past couple of years working to develop an affordable prototype prosthetic for amputees. The high school freshmen were able to purchase all the parts for their prototype for $20. The teens were flown to Boston last week where they presented their prosthetic prototype and were given one thousand dollars to finalize their project.
