Tower Cafe French Toast Recipe!

If you’re looking for somewhere delicious to brunch in Sacramento, you can’t go wrong with the iconic Tower Cafe. In fact, their French toast was named the best in California by the website “Eat This Not That.” It can get busy on the weekends, so make your reservations well in advance…and if you just can’t wait to try their French toast, someone recreated the recipe at home for you to try! You’ll need:

1 whole Loaf French Bread (day Old Is Best)
8 whole Large Eggs
1-½ cup Half-and-half
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon Grated Orange Peel (optional)
Butter
Syrup
Powdered Sugar (optional)
