21 Jump Street may already be getting the reboot treatment with new two female leads: Tiffany Haddish and Awkwafina.

According to Collider, Sony is working on producing the female-driven remake. Haddish is reportedly already close to signing on as the lead, but Awkwafina isn’t on board just yet. However, the studio is working hard to convince the Crazy Rich Asians star to join. Hopefully it happens, because this sounds like a dream team!

Rumors first started swirling of a female reboot of 21 Jump Street back in October. Columbia Pictures president Sanford Panitch said in an interview at the time: “We’ve had enough male buddy comedies. The script is really funny and has a freshness to it.”

For now, it sounds like the movie is still very much in the development stage.
