If you own an iPhone or iPad, congratulations, you’re probably rich. Research out of the University of Chicago finds that owning an iPhone is a very reliable indicator of whether someone is in a higher income bracket. If someone owned an iPhone, researchers say it gave them a 69% chance of guessing someone’s income bracket.

Of the study, researchers said, “Across all years in our data, no individual brand is as predictive of being high-income as owning an Apple iPhone in 2016.” Other brands that have indicated household weather include Land O’ Lakes butter and Kikkoman soy sauce in 2004 and Grey Poupon mustard back in 1992.
