Remember the Beanie Baby craze of the 90’s? I was sooooo sure I was gonna get rich by selling mine someday. LOL! They are still in a giant box in my garage. No doubt, people went to some crazy extremes to collect them back in the day….and now, there’s a movie inspired by the madness. It’s called “The Beanie Bubble” and is based on the book, “The Great Beanie Baby Bubble: Mass Delusion and the Dark Side of Cute” by Zac Bissonnette. It follows the women who helped surround the craze and helped make the plush toys into a phenomenon but whose names and legacies weren’t represented on each Beanie’s heart-shaped tags. Zach Galifianakis, Elizabeth Banks, and Sarah Snooks (“Succession”) will star in “The Beanie Bubble” for Apple Tv+. No word on a release date, but it should be fun to watch.

Now, if I could only find someone to buy all my Beanie Babies…..
