The Ladders used data from the Department of Labor Statistics to determine “the most boring states in America for 2018.” They took into account the age of the population (over 60-year-old), percentage of the population that is married, number of households with kids, and population density.

If you like things slower – think rocking chair on the front porch – then Idaho may not be boring, but may actually be perfect for you. It’s all about perspective.
