Foo Fighters took the stage in London Saturday and were joined by celebrities and musical guests to pay tribute to their bandmate and friend, Taylor Hawkins. They had a series of all-star drummers — Travis Barker, Josh Freese, Rufus Taylor, Nandi Bushell, Omar Hakim and more — during their Wembley Stadium set, but no one captured the hearts of everyone like the final drummer of the evening…Hawkins’ 16-year-old son, Shane. Dave Grohl introduced him by saying “… let me tell you I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone hit the drums as hard as this person, but beyond that, he’s a member of our family…and he needs to be here tonight with all of us, and I think it makes sense that he’s going to come up and play with us tonight.”

If you can watch this performance without crying, you are stronger than I am.

Foo Fighters and another host of all-stars will return to the stage Sept. 27 for another Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. Proceeds from both shows will benefit Music Support and MusiCares
