Chick-Fil-A is officially joining the rapidly growing the meal kit trend, alongside services like Hellofresh and Blue Apron. Just like these other meal kits, Chick-Fil-A will provide pre-measured ingredients and simple-to-follow recipes for users to expertly and easily make their own cooked meals at home. Each kit will reportedly serve two people and be purchasable for the price of $15.89.

Unlike other meal kit services, however, these meals will not be delivered from online ordering. Instead, they will be available for purchase straight through select Chick-Fil-A locations, starting on August 27th. These trial locations are set to include 150 restaurants in the Atlanta area, for the start of this new service. As for the rest of the nation, Popsugar reports that Chick-Fil-A is actively looking for potential locations to expand this meal-kit venture and is monitoring customer feedback to help influence their decisions.

To kick off this new business, Chick-Fil-A will be rolling out five different meals for customers to purchase and try their hand at preparing. These meal-kit recipes include: Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Enchiladas, Crispy Dijon Chicken, Pan Roasted Chicken, and Chicken Flatbread. The five tantalizing recipes will be releasing on a seasonal basis to start, ranging from August 27th to November 17th. These fancy alternatives to the traditional Chick-Fil-A menu are sure to attract both fans and newcomers alike, curious to try preparing these new takes on traditional recipes.
