Students in Hillsboro, Missouri took hoping for a snow day to a whole new level – with bribery.

On a recent snowy day, Superintendent Dr. Aaron Cornman found a mysterious package on his doorstep at home. When he opened it up he found a few packages of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Attached to the candy was a handwritten not which read, “You know what to do.”

Dr. Cornman tweeted a pic of the bribe and the note, and wrote,

“The first round of ‘Please Call School Off Tomorrow’ candy has arrived. Students in my neighborhood really want a Snow Day!!! They remembered my favorite!”

Unfortunately, the students may need to sweeten the deal next time, because it didn’t work. He later tweeted school was open.
