Stars Of ‘Supernatural’ Reveal Show Ending Was “A Community Decision”

The stars of the fan-favorite show, ‘Supernatural’, recently made the announcement that the long-running show will be coming to an end.

After several years, the ending for the long-running show Supernatural, has been announced. The stars of the show have addressed the show’s ending as well.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the ending announcement came from the show’s stars, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins. The three posted a video, making the announcement that the show’s 15th season will air in 2019-2020 and be the show’s last.

After the bittersweet announcement, members of the the Supernatural fandom began to share their reactions. On Sunday, March 31,  Ackles and Padalecki attended a Supernatural convention in Las Vegas to address the decision. When asked if the network or studio pushed the decision, Padakeci clarified, “This was a community decision.”

Ackles went on to add that: “It wasn’t an easy decision. It was months and months, if not years, of discussion between he and I, between the rest of the cast, between the crew, between our writers, between our producers, between the studio, between the network.” He continued: “I think that it was everyone wanting to do the biggest service to the show that we could by going out strong.”
