With the Mega Millions jackpot climbing to over half a BILLION dollars, there’s a little store on South Land Park Drive that is sure to be busy.

Lichine’s Liquor & Deli near Florin Road has built an impressive reputation for selling lucky tickets. The owner told The Sacramento Bee that since 2000, the store has sold three multi-million-dollar tickets and dozens for $1,000 or more.

With the Mega Millions jackpot climbing to $548 million you can expect a little lotto madness and a lot of long lines at Lichine’s leading up to Friday night’s drawing.

If you opt for the lump sum payout, you would get an estimated $309 million.
