I’ve lived in Sacramento for more than half my life, but I will forever be a mid-west girl in my heart. That’s one of the things I love about Sacramento; it has a bit of that midwestern feel. It’s a little more relaxed and filled with a lot of friendly people. I’m married to the world’s most patient man who puts up with all my sass and antics. Together we have two children who are young adults now, and since they won’t let me dote on them anymore, I’m mostly a dog mom to a rescued Staffordshire Terrier. I’m continually trying to break the stigma surrounding Staffordshire Terriers and other Pitbull type breeds by showing how sweet and misunderstood they really are. On the weekends you’ll find me relaxing, trying a new restaurant or seeking out little adventures. I still have a lot of exploring to do. From spending hours in an old record store to stopping at every roadside fruit stand along the backroads, it’s the little things that bring me the most happiness.
