At Least 30 Cars Have Windows Smashed At Sacramento State Campus

At least thirty cars parked in Sacramento State University’s lot 10 parking lot had their windows smashed in by thieves last night.

Many people that parked at Sacramento State University over the weekend woke up to a rude surprise…

According to KCRA 3, at least 30 cars had their windows smashed overnight. The break-ins occurred inside lot 10 on campus, and the thieves rifled through many of the cars glove boxes.

Police first discovered the attacks around 3:30 am after an officer heard a car alarm blaring. They are currently patrolling the area and placing business cards on the vehicles so victims can call when they find the damage.

However, this is the second time in less than a month that thieves broke into cars at Sacramento State University. KCRA reports that two people smashed several car windows on September 12th of this year. Those two also participated in a series of thefts all across the campus.
