Sacramento Region’s Safest City Is…

The annual report ranks cities based on the number of violent crimes and property crimes per 1,000 people living in a city.

If you guessed Folsom, you guessed correctly!

This survey called SafeWise ranked Folsom the safest city in the Sacramento region! KCRA writes, “The annual report ranks cities based on the number of violent crimes and property crimes per 1,000 people living in a city.

Folsom ranked No. 8 overall in California with a violent crime rate of .82 and 15.73 property crimes per 1,000.

The top three cities in the state are Danville, Irvine and Rancho Santa Margarita.

While Danville ranked at the top of the Safest Cities list, Oakland ranked last at 228.”
