Ryan Coogler Signs On To Write And Direct ‘Black Panther 2’
It’s finally been confirmed! ‘Black Panther 2’ is happening with Ryan Coogler signed on to return as writer and director.

It’s finally been confirmed! Black Panther 2 is happening with Ryan Coogler signed on to return as writer and director.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel wanted to have as much of the original creative team as possible. While there was never really any doubt that the massively successful first film would get a sequel, the question was timing.

Coogler is aiming to start writing the script next year in order to start production either in late 2019 or early 2020. That’s not too bad! As for now, Marvel and Disney aren’t confirming any release dates since they know that plans can easily change.
