Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Says Hot Dog Is Sandwich
Well, I guess that ends the debate. Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg went on the record to say that hot dogs are, in fact, sandwiches.

Well, I guess that ends the debate. Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg went on the record to say that hot dogs are, in fact, sandwiches.
She made the ruling during her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. When Colbert threw the hard-hitting question at Ruth, she replied:
“You tell me what a sandwich is, and I’ll tell you if a hot dog is a sandwich.”
So, by Stephen Colbert’s definition, Ruth believes the hot dog falls into the sandwich category. She says:
“On your definition, yes, it is.”
