Police are searching for a “crew” of thieves that have targeted the Roseville Galleria four times in the last 30 days – twice in 24 hours.

According to the Roseville Police Department the crew seems to be extremely organized and usually consist of two to four people. The latest heists both involved two men wearing hoodies covering their faces. The first robbery occurred around 7 p.m. Sunday evening – then again Monday morning around 11 a.m. with thieves matching the same description. Several iPhones were stolen in both robberies.

Police are investigating whether the robberies are connected to two other robberies at the same store within the last few weeks. Since August 14, the store has lost around $57,000 between the four robberies.

Apple isn’t the only cell phone store being targeted. Very similar crimes have been occurring throughout the area. According to KCRA, cell phones have been stolen in a similar fashion from a T-Mobile store on Pleasant Grove Boulevard, and an AT&T store on Douglas Boulevard. Police used spike strip, helicopter and K9s to catch and arrest the alleged thieves in those cases.

Roseville Police advised you do not intervene if you witness these crimes in progress, but there are some things you can do to help:

– Be a good witness
– Descriptions of suspects and suspect vehicles help
– Don’t attempt to intervene
– Always be aware of your surroundings
– As you shop, keep crime prevention tips in mind
– Never leave anything of value in your car
