The much anticipated “Roseanne” revival debuted Tuesday night to record numbers. The reboot on ABC drew 18.2 million viewers, which is a monster night considering how much our viewing habits have changed. And, get this! The second episode, which aired back to back with the premier, drew an even bigger audience with 18.6 million viewers. Those numbers make the “Roseanne” reboot the biggest series debut this season, overtaking CBS’ “Young Sheldon,” which premiered with 17.2 million viewers. The reboot numbers also topped the audience for the series finale of “Roseanne,” by 10% back in May of 1997.
