Thousands of runners will be racing between Folsom and downtown Sacramento for the California International Marathon this weekend.
7,500 participants are registered for Saturday’s 5K and the Kid’s FunRun with local road closures around downtown Sacramento from 7 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
But it’s Sunday, Dec 2nd, where nearly 13,000 runners will flood the streets for the trek from the starting line at Folsom-Auburn Rd & Oak Avenue Pkwy in Folsom to the finish at the State Capitol. According to the CIM website, here are the roads (and times) you should avoid:
