We reported that Starbucks stores are receiving Pumpkin Spice Latte ingredients, a sign that fall is on the way. Now Dairy Queen is jumping in.
Cosmo reports, “Since 1991, the old faithful frozen treat has made its triumphant return to the DQ menu every fall. Like clockwork, come September, it rears its head, as if to say, you didn’t think I’d forgotten about you, did you?! And Blizzard lovers, for the 27th time in a row, here we go again.
Beginning September 3, the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard will make its comeback as the September Blizzard of the Month. The base is a mix of DQ’s classic vanilla soft serve and pieces of real pumpkin pie. On top, there’s a dollop of whipped cream — because what’s pumpkin pie anything without it? — and a sprinkle of nutmeg. You can grab it in any of Dairy Queen’s four Blizzard sizes: mini, small, medium, or large.”
