The Parents Television Council wrote an open letter to Justin Timberlake regarding his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show.

The officials mention Janet Jackson’s infamous 2004 nip slip during her and Justin’s joint halftime performance. They want to make absolute sure that there’s no repeat of that kind of situation. They wrote:

“But while much has changed, much remains the same. The fallout of your performance during Super Bowl XXXVIII has left an indelible mark. You really threw us – and millions of parents who were watching with their kids.”

They also brought up Justin’s promise that it won’t happen again and want him to keep his word. The letter ends:

“Thank you for considering our urgent appeal for a positive, uplifting and entertaining halftime show on Sunday. Because our Children are Watching. Break a leg.”
