This is very scary. Be careful running on the American River Trail, and when running anywhere think twice about wearing headphones.

The Sacramento Police Department released this image today of a man that is a  suspect in two sexual assault incidents last night near Sutter’s Landing Regional Park on the same night.

Both incidents happened in broad daylight near the American River bike trail.  In both cases thankfully the women were able to escape.

Officers determined a woman was sexually assaulted just south of the American River, police said. Less than an hour later, police received a report of a second attempted sexual assault of another woman along the bike trail where it crosses under Business 80, police said”
