Flight delays are never fun… I mean… you just want to get where you’re going right? Well, some passengers on a recent American Airlines flight from L.A. to Dallas were delayed mid-air, thanks to severe thunderstorms in the area, and were forced to make a landing in Wichita Falls, Texas. I mean, better safe than sorry, but still frustrating for the 159 passengers who had hoped to be in Dallas. Well, the plane’s pilot did something awesome! Captain Jeff Raines had 40 Papa Johns pizzas delivered to the airport for the stranded passengers and crew. I mean, it wasn’t a flight to Dallas, but comfort food goes a long way to easing frustrations.
@AmericanAir Bad weather, holding, diverting AA now holds the biggest pizza @PapaJohns delivery order in Wichita Falls, TX when the Captain of #2354 took it upon himself to order 40 pizzas for the passengers after landing and the flight cancelled. He hand delivered them! pic.twitter.com/19S7NrpN73
