Yep, that’s right, you owe mom a big ol’ “thank you” if she nagged you growing up! You know, nagging you to do your chores, your homework, brush your teeth, wash your hands you should tell her THANK YOU!

According to a new study out of England, people whose moms nagged them when they were growing up turn out to be more SUCCESSFUL as adults. Yep! They’re more likely to go to college, avoid making really bad life choices, and have better paying jobs. The researchers say, “No matter how hard we tried to avoid our parents’ recommendations, it’s likely that they ended up influencing choices we consider extremely personal.”

All that nagging did its job because mom is always in your head, affecting your decision and choices, even if you think you’re a grown up making your own decisions. Now go make your bed and thank Mom!
