That’s right! All that delicious food your co-workers are bringing in and leaving in the break room is making you FAT!
Sure, it’s free food, but the break room can be the hardest part of the day with all of those snack floating around. Especially if you’re trying to stay on-track with your eating. A new study from the CDC revealed that the free food at work isn’t healthy. DUH!
Researchers found that 25 percent of study participants said they eat food they get at work at least once a week. That adds up to 1,300 calories a week. And those calories are mostly high in fat and sugar. And, that free food also accounts for more than 70 percent of the junk food consumed at work.
May be time to pass up some of the freebies!
