Reports Reveal A New ‘Flintstones’ Series Is Being Developed

New reports have released, announcing that a new ‘Flintstones’ animated series is in development, and will be returning to TV in the near future.

A new announcement has been made, revealing that a new Flintstones series is currently in development.

According to PeopleThe Flintstones is being created as a new retelling of the classic cartoon series. The new series will reportedly be coming back to TV, and is being developed in collaboration between Warner Bros. Animation and Elizabeth Banks’ Brownstone Productions. According to the reports, the new show will be “a primetime animated adult comedy series based on an original idea featuring characters from The Flintstones.”

As of now, this new show has no official release date set. Additionally, no network has been announced for where this new series will premiere. The original animated series aired for six seasons, from 1960 to 1966, and ran for over 150 episodes.
