Two jewelers in India broke the Guinness World Record for the most diamonds on a single ring. It’s shaped like a lotus flower!
Vishal Agarwal and Khushbu Agarwal placed a total of 6,690 diamonds on the 18 karat rose gold ring. According to Guinness World Records, the ring weighs more than a gold ball at 58 grams and worth $4,116,787.
The jewelers beat the past record by a long shot! The last record holder was Savio Jewelry for the Peakcock ring, created in 2015. The ring contained 3,827 cut diamonds.
Vishal designed the ring, and Khushbu, owner of Hanumant Diamonds, funded the project. They chose to create a lotus flower in order to raise awareness for water conservation.
