More Than A Million Accounts Receive Surprise Deposit From Golden 1 Credit Union

Golden 1 surprised its eligible members by depositing $20 million across nearly 1.1 million accounts.

Christmas came early when Sacramento-based Golden 1 Credit Union dispersed a total of $20 million across nearly 1.1 million accounts.

This is the second time in five year that the credit union spread the love with surprise account deposits. The credit union gifted $18 million in 2014 as a way of saying “thank you.”

Eligible members saw a bump of at least 25% of their total dividends for 2019 through Oct 1 when they checked their accounts Tuesday morning. The minimum deposit was $8, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.
