It’s going to beautiful and not too hot this weekend in Sacramento!  Here’s some fun things you can do to “Mix it UP”

  1.  California State Fair | Cal Expo
    -Friday’s Seniors get in for $10 and ride FREE on the Grand Carousel and the Giant Wheel.
    Concerts:  Friday: Shawn Kingston.  Saturday: Joe Nichols.  Sunday: Mariachi Vargas ——Food Festival Pass is a GREAT deal.  The Food Festival pass is only $28 and comes with 4 tickets. Just present a ticket from the Food Festival Pass to a participating vendor and receive the Food Festival item (normally valued at $10).   2. “The Lion King” Live Action Remake
    The “live-action” remake of the 1994 Disney classic stars Donald Glover as Simba and BeyoncĂ© as Nala. It’s directed by Jon Favreau and features all the songs from the original, plus a new song called “Spirit” that BeyoncĂ© wrote for this movie.  James Earl Jones is the only original cast member to return for the remake.  He’s Simba’s dad Mufasa . . . the king who’s betrayed and murdered by his brother Scar.
  3. Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco at Thunder Valley Casino
    This year’s host of the VMA’S, Maniscalco, is an American professional comedian and actor from Chicago, Illinois.  He’s performing Saturday at 8pm.  He was in the movie, Greenbook, and he’s known most for his observational humor.
