More controversy surrounds All the Money in the World as news of the pay gap between the co-stars surfaces. Mark Wahlberg reportedly made $1.5 million, while Williams took home less than $1,000.

The Ridley Scott directed film first made headlines when the director chose to fire Kevin Spacey. The firing was a direct result of Spacey’s sexual misconduct allegations. Christopher Plummer replaced all of Spacey’s role, a move that required all of Spacey’s scenes to be re-shot.

Both Williams and Wahlberg agreed to do the re-shoot over a 10 day period. Scott previously told USA Today last month that all the actors agreed to re-shoot for nothing:

“The whole reshoot was — in normal terms was expensive but not as expensive as you think. Because all of them, everyone did it for nothing.”

Williams also spoke with the publication supporting the decision to cut out Spacey. She expressed gratitude for the move:

“I said I’d be wherever they needed me, whenever they needed me. And they could have my salary; they could have my holiday, whatever they wanted.”

Though it was initially reported that both actors agreed to re-shoot for little pay, it was revealed today that was not the case. Wahlberg’s agency reportedly negotiated a “hefty fee” afterwards.

The studio, Wahlberg, and Williams have yet to respond to these claims.
