Mermaids Are Taking Over Sacramento This Weekend!

The warm weather is drawing mermaids to Sacramento! This is the weekend for the California Mermaid Convention and you’re likely to see mermaids all over town! In fact, you’re invited to put on your favorite dress in your favorite merfolk, nautical, pirate, sea creature or other watery costume…and join the “shell-abration” in Sunday’s Promenade of Mermaids from the Embarcadero in Old Town, Sacramento. It’s FREE family fun and it gets underway at 12:30pm Sunday. There will be vendors on site, as well as games and activities. They will also be teaching a Flash Mob dance to everyone who would like to participate!
