McDonald’s Handing Out FREE Big Macs For Its 50th Anniversary

Can you believe that the Big Mac has officially been around for 50 years now? In honor of the anniversary, McDonald’s is giving away the burger for FREE!

Can you believe that the Big Mac has officially been around for 50 years now? In honor of the anniversary, McDonald’s is giving away the burger for FREE!

The chain is creating a new currency, the “MacCoin,” that can only be used to buy one thing: the Big Mac. McDonald’s is giving away the coins starting today, Aug. 2. All you need to do to get one is buy a Big Mac at one of the 14,000 participating locations.

According to Time Money, McDonald’s is prepared to hand out 6.2 million MacCoins. They’ll be giving them away until supplies last. Each MacCoin can be redeemed from Aug. 3 to Dec. 31, 2018.
