Mass shootings are nothing to make jokes about. While that should be obvious, especially considering all the horrific shootings in recent memory, some people still choose to make light of those tragedies. However, one man is now facing serious consequences when his mass shooting “prank” caused chaos at Disney’s Contemporary Resort…
According to the Orlando Sentinel, 22-year-old Dillion Burch was recently staying at the Florida Disney resort. Unfortunately for him, his vacation is now over after police police arrested him on Monday.
Why?
While “highly intoxicated,” Burch decided to run up to resort guests and tell them that there was a mass shooter and they needed to evacuate. Although Burch told people he was joking and just wanted their reaction to post on YouTube for a school project, it was still too much for many to handle. The whole incident later caused the Disney resort to go into lockdown.

After police arrived at the scene, they found Burch hiding in some bushes and arrested him on the spot. They later took him to the Orange County Jail for disturbing the peace and disorderly intoxication. Dillion Burch has since left jail on bond.
