Mary J. Blige and her ex-husband Martin “Kendu” Isaacs finally settled their bitter divorce. The two initially had a court date set for the day after the Oscars, Mar. 5.
The couple filed for divorce in 2016, but the finalization dragged out when Kendu started arguing for more in spousal support. He claimed he was broke and that Mary was living in riches. She retaliated, saying that she worked hard for her income. Kendu also said that Mary was dragging his name in the mud, making it hard for him to find work.
The two met when Kendu became Mary’s manager. They were married for 12 years, reports Wonderwall. After the divorce went public, many stories surfaced that Kendu was cheating with Starshell, Mary’s protege.
