Margot Robbie is starring as Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The actress shared a sneak peek of her in character and the resemblance is eerie.
Robbie posted the picture on her Instagram with her sporting a black turtleneck, white skirt, and white boots. She looks like the spitting image of the late model what with the era-appropriate outfit.
Tate’s murder by Charles Manson followers shook Hollywood in 1969. The murder occurred in her and husband Roman Polanski’s home when she was eight months pregnant. Her death garnered heavy media attention at the time.

News outlets confirmed Robbie’s role in the star-packed Tarantino movie in May. According to Nylon, the film will follow the story of Rick Dalton, Tate’s neighbor and former Western TV star, and his stunt double, Cliff Booth. Leonardo DiCaprio is starring as Dalton, with Brad Pitt set to play Booth.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is set to open on Aug. 9, 2019, the 50th anniversary of the Manson-LaBianca murders.
