Black Friday conjures images of chaos, and campsites, fights and hurt feelings. You’ll save some money, or so they say…but is Black Friday really worth all the hassle?

This new study finds that a whopping 61% of people say they plan to skip the in-person shopping this Black Friday. Many opting to either not shop at all on Black Friday, or shop online.

Some of the reasons people gave, according to this study:

1.  Stores are too busy.

2.  Online shopping is easier.

3.  The cheaper prices aren’t worth the hassle.

4.  There are better deals at other times of the year.

5.  Customer service on Black Friday is worse than normal.

This stat blew my mind. Millennials, it turns out, are the most likely age group to show up in-person on Black Friday. This study found that more than half plan to shop this Black Friday!

How about you?
