The man Atlanta police believe to be behind the burglary in R. Kelly’s home has turned himself in.

TMZ is reporting that Alfonso Walker turned himself in on Monday for the multiple charges he’s currently facing.

These include two counts of burglary, two counts of theft by deception, and two counts of theft by taking.

Although he is now in police custody, it’s about one week too late. Walker failed to turn himself in last Tuesday, causing police to issue an arrest warrant.

R. Kelly himself has since released a statement thanking the police for their hard work in the case.
