Man Arrested For Hidden Camera Found In Folsom Tanning Salon

A 56-year-old man was placed under arrest after turning himself in for secretly filming people at a Folsom tanning salon.

Police say Steven Pucci is suspected of recording numerous people, including a minor at Sun Club on East Bidwell Street.

“Officers were notified of a hidden camera which looked like a phone charger inside of a local tanning salon,” police spokesperson Jamie Challinor told KCRA. “A patron of the tanning salon, she saw the camera plugged in, felt it didn’t look right and notified authorities.”

The investigation began in April after someone reported the camera in a tanning bed room. Witnesses helped police trace the fake phone charger back to Pucci, who has since been released on bail.
